Three new Liverymen and a new Freeman admitted - 26 March 2025
At our Court meeting this week we were delighted to welcome a new Freeman, Martin Garthwaite and three new Liverymen, Sina Carle, Narmina Huseynova and Fanny Orsini.
The Freeman signs the beautiful Scriveners’ Book (the photo shows an extract from an earlier admission) and the Liverymen make the declaration set out in our ordinances of 1619, when James I was on the throne. Which is pretty recent considering our first ordinances were set down in 1373!
All three of the new Liverymen are Scrivener Notaries at De Pinna and they were supported by Martin Charlton and Ryan Moody who are both Partners at the firm and who serve on the Court of Assistants of the Company.
Although Scrivener Notaries are our original profession, we are an open Company and welcome applications for membership from people in all walks of life.
