During the Quill Pen Lunch the Master Scrivener presented the Lady Mayor with the swan's quill pen she used to sign herself into office.

The sun shone on Lady Mayor's Day and we took part in the noisy, colourful, joyful pageant which makes up the parade of more than 7,000 people (and more than three miles long) celebrating the diversity and variety of the people who make the City of London.

A group of Scriveners and guests recently visited HMS Portland in His Majesty’s Naval Dockyard Devonport, Plymouth to tour the ship and to see the vessel and its associated helicopter rehearsing high-speed manoeuvres.
