A group of Scriveners and guests recently visited HMS Portland in His Majesty’s Naval Dockyard Devonport, Plymouth to tour the ship and to see the vessel and its associated helicopter rehearsing high-speed manoeuvres.

Another important event in our 650th anniversary year celebrations was a service of thanksgiving in the church of St Mary-le-Bow, led by our Honorary Chaplain, the Reverend Steven Brooks.
